Welcome to NovaLingo!

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NovaLingo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using NovaLingo, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian if required by the laws in your country, to use NovaLingo.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. License to Use NovaLingo

NovaLingo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Copy or redistribute the app.

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app.

• Use NovaLingo for unlawful purposes.

• Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

3. User Accounts

Some features may require creating an account.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account.

• Keeping your login information confidential.

• All activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account.
 

4. User Content

NovaLingo may allow you to create your own vocabulary lists, translations, notes, or other content.

You retain ownership of the content you create.

By submitting content through NovaLingo, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws or the rights of others.
 

5. Subscriptions

NovaLingo may offer optional premium subscriptions.

Subscription purchases are processed through the Apple App Store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings.

Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies.
 

6. Free Features

NovaLingo may provide certain games, languages, or features free of charge.

We reserve the right to change, add, remove, or limit free features at any time.
 

7. Updates

We may release updates, improvements, bug fixes, and new features.

Some updates may be required for continued use of the Service.
 

8. Intellectual Property

NovaLingo, including its:

• Name

• Logo

• Artwork

• Graphics

• Sound effects

• Music

• Software

• Game mechanics

• Educational content

is owned by NovaLingo or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce or distribute these materials without written permission.
 

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use NovaLingo to violate any law.

• Upload harmful software or malicious code.

• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems.

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities.

• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your access.
 

10. Availability

We strive to keep NovaLingo available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
 

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

NovaLingo is provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties regarding:

• Continuous availability.

• Accuracy of content.

• Error-free operation.

• Fitness for a particular purpose.
   

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NovaLingo and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for NovaLingo during the twelve months preceding the claim.
 

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

You may stop using NovaLingo at any time.

Sections relating to intellectual property, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution will survive termination.
 

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be posted with a revised Effective Date.

Your continued use of NovaLingo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
 

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
